Williamsburg 2011
Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 10:25PM At long last, I would say, it’s springtime in Virginia.
Janet, Lauren, Sarah and I all decided it would be a good idea to travel down to Williamsburg to use our passes that we purchased last April. While we intended to use them several times over the past year, we just could not make the time to get away and since they were expiring on April 7th and the day was just beautiful, we loaded up the Prius and headed out.
While Janet and I were looking forward to visiting Historical Williamsburg, Lauren announces, “Daddy, we should go shopping before looking at the old stuff.” Well… there are the outlets down there and I had a weak moment, so I agreed. After three hours of being drug from store to store, I was ready to leave the shopping for some “old stuff” as Lauren put it.

While visiting, both girls fell in love with this dress shop, Binns, http://www.binnsonline.com/, and while they both put up a strong argument on why they needed dresses, I held strong… well, and I was out of money after hitting the outlets.
All in all, a fantastic day, we loved the sights, sounds and smells of spring here in Virginia. Before driving back to Culpeper, we stopped at one of our favorite places to have dinner, The Backfin Restaurant, http://www.backfinrestaurant.com/ordereze/default.aspx.
Have a GREAT week and Welcome Spring!
